![]() ![]() it will do a simple math dividing the size of the sprite sheet, like this table below So in order for RPG Maker to know which one is which when you select them in event,database,etc. A sprite sheet aka the image file can have 12 different dog of the same size. In order to have to the dog to move you need a sprite like what you made there. RPG Maker will split the sprite sheet into 8 characters/pattern by diving the size of the sprite sheet. ![]() There can be 8 characters/pattern in one sprite sheet. I'm guessing your spritesheet is using the same size as the default RTP one. ![]()
